Our Philosophy/Ethos
Our philosophy incorporates The Early Years Foundations Stage principles (EYFS), which are:

- Enabling Environments
- Learning and Development
Children develop and learn in different ways and at different rates. Children learn through play and gain social integration when they are ready and we are always there to help and guide them and to support the family through the development stages. We aim to bring out the personality of every child and develop their sense of security and self-confidence in a safe, stimulating and totally child-centred environment. Each child develops at their own pace and is given the guidance and freedom to work within a framework which ensures equality of opportunity for all children to feel safe, calm, happy and positive.

The Hampstead Garden Suburb Pre-School Ofsted Report is available to download as a pdf document below, and is also available to view upon request from the school. The outcome of the 2017 Ofsted inspection was that
"the quality of the provision is Outstanding... Children are deeply absorbed in learning. They are extremely happy, confident and self- assured as their physical and emotional well-being is promoted incredibly well."
